Bassington - Three Horseshoes – A189 Spine Road (Earth Balance turn) – Three Horseshoes – Crowhall roundabout (out and back) 10 Miles.

START at the north end of the bus stop lay-by just north of the Bassington Roundabout on the A1068. Proceed north to Plessey Checks Roundabout. Take the third exit onto the A192 eastbound to proceed to Crowhall Lane Roundabout. Continue straight on to the Three Horseshoes Roundabout and take the second exit onto the slip road for the A189 Spine Road (North Bound).  Proceed over the River Blyth then take the slip road for the A1147 (B1331) for Bedlington Station/Earth Balance.  Continue in the outer lane to double back onto the B1331 to rejoin the A189 southbound.  Continue south until the slip road for the A192 Three Horseshoes roundabout.  At the Three Horseshoes roundabout, take the third exit back onto the A192 westbound and continue to the Crowhall Lane (Fire Station) roundabout.  Take the second exit to continue straight over the Crowhall Lane roundabout, and FINISH at the curb side (10 Miles).
