Hart victorious at ECCA Good Friday 25

Paul Hart (Southend Wheelers) claimed a comfortable victory at the ECCA Good Friday 25 on the E91/25 near Leaden Roding, Essex.

With a time of 55:19 Hart rode home more than a minute ahead of his closest challenger David Harding (Chelmer CC) who managed 56:37, with his club-mate Peter Harding following up almost two minutes further back in third.

Thomas Platts of Aspire Velo RT finished in fourth on a time of 59:03, whilst Alex Eason (Chelmer CC) beat Alex Bailey (CC Breckland) into fifth by 30 seconds.

Ann Shuttleworth (Chelmer CC) on 1:08.44 was the fastest woman finisher, whilst in the two-up race Neil Dowie and Glenn Taylor of Shorter Rochford RT clocked 58:21 to take victory by 41 seconds from Rob Young (Team Vision Racing) and Mary Bower (Chelmer CC) in second.
