Veteran rider Andrew Martin took first place by almost a minute in the West Cheshire 10 time trial held in Farndon on Sunday.
The 41-year-old Champion System VCUK man completed the course in a time of 22.20 and fellow veteran, Richard Kay of Mid Shropshire Wheelers, was second in a time of 23.17.
Graham Weigh RT rider Graham Kemp had to settle for third, the 37-year-old just a second off the pace of Kay.
Fibrax-Wrexham RC rider Becky Lewis was top woman in a time of 24.30. That put her joint 15th overall – she completed in the same time as team mate Darren White.
Kieran Morris of Mid Shropshire Wheelers showed promise for the future with a ride that saw him take the junior prize. The 15-year-old completed in 25.13. Another Mid Shropshire Wheeler, Caroline Lloyd took the veteran woman prize with 30.47.
