Rob Sharland (Paceline RT) showed his form ahead of the National 25 Championship by posting a time of 49 minutes and 31 seconds to win the Hounslow & District Wheelers 25.
After finishing 10th in the National 10 Championship last season Sharland is set to compete for the longer distance title at the end of the month.
Despite being slower than his personal best of 48.14 the Paceline rider flew along the course that runs along the A31 between Farnham and Alton.
After recent victories in the Team Axiom 10 and North Hampshire RC 10 it was his first of the season over 25 miles.
Local rider James Boyman (Farnham RC) was the only competitor to come close to the winner and his time of 50.17 was good enough for second on this occasion.
Gary Chambers (Fareham Wheelers) took third place on the day with a time of 51.56.
